MAKING THE INDUSTRY BATTLE READY

Salon Management Congress (SMC) by Professional Beauty India is one of the most popular B2B events of the Indian salon industry due to the value it brings to business owners, brands, distributors, and beauty professionals. It delves deep into concerns that the industry faces across the supply chain and in various departments such as operations, HR, retail, and customer management. Due to the lockdown, the sixth edition of SMC was conducted digitally with a pan-India reach. The two-day virtual business bonanza had an impressive line-up of speakers and an array of interesting topics that inspired exchange and deliberation of ideas.

Professional Beauty India had introduced Salon Management Congress in 2018 with the aim of helping aspiring and existing salon owners to understand the nuances of this business, ethical practices and the balance of creativity with money making. SMC Virtual 2020, designed to address these needs and find workable solutions, was successful in achieving its aim and was much appreciated by the industry.
