The beauty industry has been keeping busy in recent times. Professionals are back to business and have been implementing strategies to stay safe as well as ensure that they keep their clients safe.

With COVID-19, the need for safety has come along stronger than ever, and there has been a change in the wedding business for makeup artists and hairstylists not just in India, but world over. When the pandemic was at its peak – the complete lockdown phase – there have been couples who chose to be their own stylist. Eventually some couples continued hiring in-person make-up artist and hairstylists. And yes, even in the new normal, we are seeing the industry bounce back with vigour and zeal. During these times, team Professional Beauty India crossed every extra mile that it took to support the industry. With virtual events, we continued to create and offer every possible platform to educate, train and discuss business. During the second lockdown, we introduced a series #TuesdaySundowner sessions where every Tuesday evening, I indulged in virtual catch-ups with industry experts on the @probeautyindia Instagram page to get an update on all that’s happening in the beauty and wellness world. Come September, we have kicked-off a new series #PBTechTalk which is being alternatively hosted on the Instagram and Facebook pages of Professional Beauty India. So do join me every Thursday as I engage in technical conversations and demonstrations with industry experts in makeup, skin, hair, nails and more…

And, what’s in store this digital edition? It’s all about ‘What a Bride Wants…’ Read on to know more about signature bridal looks of some of India’s top notch makeup artists. This edition also delves into bridal skin care and hair care. This plus, perspectives from experts’ world over will help you get business insights on the way ahead for you.
