JAY BIRD INSPIRED FESTIVE EYE LOOK BY UNNATI SINGH

Contact lens: Start by putting on your lenses. Be extra careful with hygiene and ensure your hands are clean. Use lenses that complement your skin tone. Grey, hazel, honey and brown hues best suit the Indian skin tone.

Priming: Use a hydrating primer on the eyelid to allow the products to glide on a smooth surface and to make the make-up last longer.

Setting the base: A matte nude eye shadow will set the primer and help the artist to get rid of the stickiness.

Defining the crease: Use a matte shadow (preferably a neutral brown shade) to define the crease. Spread the same colour on half of the lid, leaving space between the eyeball area and the inner corner.

Adding sheen: Add a pearl-ish sheen from the inner corner till the eyeball area and blend well.

Enhancing the inner corners: Draw a small line on the lower lash line from the inner corner following the shape of the eye.

Lining the eyes: Give the eye liner an extended wing to lift the eyes.

Lashing it up: Add a coat of mascara to give volume to your lashes. Put on fake lashes to give extra dimension.

Defining the eyebrow: Fill the eyebrow with mahogany colour and add eyebrow highlighter.

Festive season is all about sparkling moments, so is this simple JAY bird inspired festive eye make-up look, as it gives a luminous expression to your eyes.

SIZZLING SMOKEY EYES BY GAUTAM PRASHER BALI

“Eyes silhouetted in smokey drama of black hues with blended brown undertones is the ‘it’ look of the season. A layer of silvery shimmer enhances the effect with mascara-ed lashes adding to the glam quotient. The well-contoured nose adds a chiselled look to the face while a warm nude lip colour balances out the look. A transparent gloss is just what you need for that extra oomph! Smokey eyes to complement flawless glowing skin gives you the perfect glamourous look.”

CONTEMPORARY LOOKS BY KAJOL R PASWWAN

“We believe in the power of less make-up or as everyone says, the ‘no make-up make-up look,’ so let’s start with that. I think the best kind of minimalism and confidence you can carry this season will be with this look.” 1. No make-up make-up look: This goes with a very subtle base with a few highlights demanded here and there on your face. 2. Traditional golden shimmer look: Go for a subtle make-up base and let your eyes do the talking. Complete your traditional look with the all time classic red lipstick and get ready to rule the night. 3. Soft smokey eyes: One can never go wrong with soft smokey eye make-up. It’s been trending lately and a festive party would be the perfect occasion to carry this look with your dream outfit. PBHJ
