HAIR MASTERCLASS SERIES BY MR. BARBER

Mr. Barber conducted a series of masterclasses to teach about the right tools for styling, and shared tips and tricks on the proper use of tools. The showcased styles ranged from bridal to avant-garde hairstyles replete with pop colours and an Indian touch. The masterclasses witnessed educators such as Anam Siddiqui and Gourav Bhardwaj in Jaipur; Gourav and Amit Bhardwaj in Lucknow; and Gourav and Rekha Sharma in Chennai.

The mission of this series was to build a knowledge base and provide a conducive environment for upcoming artists across tier II cities like Lucknow, Jaipur, Agra, Coimbatore, Madurai, Chennai, etc. More than 500 participants attended the masterclasses.

SCHWARZKOPF PROFESSIONAL CELEBRATES THE POWER OF ‘WE’

Schwarzkopf Professional hosted an exclusive soiree to celebrate top hair artists and esteemed salon partners from Mumbai on 20th September 2022 with David Tung, Vice President -Consumer Brands, APAC, Henkel, as the guest of honour. It was a remarkable experience for the attendees, and the brand dedicated the evening to its partners and hairdressers.

GLOBAL BEAUTY SECRETS TIES UP WITH JEAN-CLAUDE BIGUINE SALON

Jean-Claude Biguine salon brings the world of skincare to its discerning clientele with the products of Global Beauty Secrets as revealed at a recent event at its Jio World Drive salon. To announce this unique partnership, GBSxJCB hosted an experiential event for the leading ladies of the beauty industry that kicked off with an assortment of traditional beauty rituals starting from hair, skin as well as beauty tools.

The event was co-hosted by beauty editor Aparrna Gupta. Natural Sandal Dar Rejuvenating massage, manicure, pedicure and nail art were some of the experiences that the guests indulged in with certified products by Global Beauty Secrets. Cultural setups and aesthetic decor complemented the overall vibe of the brand.

DERMALOGICA’S 15-YEAR BIRTHDAY BASH WITH NEHA DHUPIA

Meet-and-greet, a magic show, games, snacks and music were the order of the day at Dermalogica’s celebration as the brand completed 15 years in India. The birthday party was co-hosted by its ardent user turned brand ambassador, Neha Dhupia. The guests enjoyed meeting Dhupia, playing games like Skin Care Bingo, and celebrating this milestone along with the team.

The #DermalogicaTurns15 anniversary event was hosted like a quintessential 15-year old’s birthday party, complete with games, snacks, music and lots of fun. Dermalogica partners from the most prestigious salons and clinics from across the country, including Hair Masters, Headturners, Toni & Guy, Envi Salon & Spa, Geetanjali Salon, Style ‘N’ Scissors, Indulge The Salon, DC Lounge and Dadu Medical Clinic flew into Mumbai to attend the celebration, while the media and influencers enthusiastically participated and created content through its duration.

TREE PLANTATION DRIVE BY OLAPLEX

To carry the baton of the brand values forward, Olaplex collaborated with Shikhar Dhawan Foundation to organise the Olaplex Sapling Plantation Drive. The event was held on 10th September 2022 at DDA Park, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. With an aim to contribute their part and spread awareness about the need to take mindful action, the event was a success filled with love for Mother Nature. The brand team was joined by children from The Sukoon Foundation, who did their bit by planting trees. Political leader Azad Singh, influencers and members from the salon fraternity were present, too, to lend their hand to this noble cause. As a brand, Olaplex has always been environmentally conscious, and its ethos stands strong - healthier hair, healthier planet. The brand has always tried to inculcate the values of sustainability and do its best towards the environment. The attempt is to reduce carbon footprint and develop a balance between good healthy hair and a safe planet.

BANGALORE FINDS A NEW ADDRESS FOR ALL OUR MAKE-UP NEEDS

28 South Ventures, one of South India’s largest organised players in the beauty industry, have launched a new beauty store in Bangalore called Make-up Biography. The store is now functional in HSR Layout located just a short distance from Bangalore’s other large residential areas. It is a one-stop-shop for all the makeup and salon needs. The store has the best national and international brands. Make-up Biography is also keen on organising live demos with well-known brands at the outlet to show customers how easy it is to shop and make their lives happier by providing them with genuine and authentic products.
