Hairstylist and trendsetter Florian Hurel, Global Ambassador for Schwarzkopf along with his team, created Hair Trends 2023, exclusively for Professional Beauty x\ Hairdressers Journal, to showcase style inspiration for India’s creative brigade.

The inspiration

My approach was to create a very chic and realistic look, which could be the upcoming hair trends for 2023 for

Colour palette and techniques

We worked on making hair the hero of the story and this is why a white tone was the overall feel. Be it a warm colour to a highlighted hair to a bold haircut, we wanted to focus only on the sharpness of each look by bringing out each model’s personality.

Each hair colour was uniquely designed for each lady / model as per their personality, character and vision / outcome what I wanted to achieve. Be it a loud highlight a uniform vibrant copper or a bold bob cut. This also is eant to be highlighting each woman as a personality

Pro tip

The only pro tip I would give here is to study your client’s quirements and it’s always good to visualise or realise e look before executing it.

Styling the looks

The looks are based on relatable trends. We opted for complete white look to compliment the hairstyles, cuts d colours.

Advice to stylists

Always keep it as minimalistic and chic as possible.

PERFECTLY PIXIE

“I worked on the mood board very closely and worked on the models who were aligned to the vision, which was behind creating this collection. I created the pixie hair, and kept it all black with a bit of gloss. This would be one of the trendiest hairstyles for 2023.”
