BEAUTY&YOU AWARDS BY ESTÉE LAUDER AND NYKAA

Beauty&You India, an award programme launched by Estée Lauder Companies, is a new incubation venture in partnership with Nykaa. The winners of this inaugural edition of Beauty&You India Awards were announced amidst glitz and glamour on 9th November 2022 at St Regis Hotel, Mumbai.

With over 300 entries across 50 Indian cities, the application pool included a multitude of beauty brands across categories – skincare, hair care, fragrance, and colour cosmetics. Brand, product, marketing and investment experts from ELC and Nykaa along with an eminent jury of leading industry experts including actor Katrina Kaif, fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Nicola Kilner, CEO and Co Founder, Deciem Inc, and Anaita Shroff Adajania, CEO, Style Cell. They reviewed the entire application pool and shortlisted the ten most promising of brands and ideas for the finale.

SEMINARS AND MASTERCLASSES BY MR.BARBER

Mr.Barber is a brand that is known to lead with education. The brand’s ambassadors and influencing artists had presented look and learn sessions at Professional Beauty Delhi Expo. In keeping with the spirit of sharing knowledge, a dwith the response these sessions have received at the Expo, Mr.Barber is going to conduct a series of seminars and masterclasses in the months of December and January as the s ason is commencing. With this initiative, Mr.Barber wants to t ke the Indian hairdressing industry, artists and hairstylists to the enext level.

The Mr. Barber ambassadors will be teaching about the ri ht tools for styling and sharing tips and tricks. They will a so showcase trending hairstyles, bridal hairstyles, creative h ircuts and much more. The mission of this education series is to build knowledge and provide a conducive environment for upcoming artists across India. This series of seminars will be held in Cochin, Indore, Pondicherry, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Rewari, Azamgarh and other tier II and III cities in the near future.

GLOBAL BEAUTY SECRETS TIES UP WITH JEAN-CLAUDE BIGUINE SALON 

Jean-Claude Biguine salon brings the world of skincare to its discerning clientele with the products of Global Beauty Secrets as revealed at a recent event at its Jio World Drive salon. To announce this unique partnership, GBSxJCB hosted an experiential event for the leading ladies of the beauty industry that kicked off with an assortment of traditional beauty rituals starting from hair, skin as well as beauty tools.

The event was co-hosted by beauty editor Aparrna Gupta. Natural Sandal Dar Rejuvenating massage, manicure, pedicure and nail art were some of the experiences that the guests indulged in with certified products by Global Beauty Secrets. Cultural setups and aesthetic decor complemented the overall vibe of the brand.

This synergy with Global Beauty Secrets enables the customers at JCB salons to experiment with traditional beauty ingredients and formulas from all over the world. “When I started Global Beauty Secrets, I always wanted to recreate ancient beauty rituals. As a global brand, we look forward to this collaboration and are super excited to offer Global Beauty Rituals to everyone. DERMALOGICA PROSKIN MASTERS 2022

Dermalogica India concluded the third edition of its most sought-after industry competition, Dermalogica PROSkin Masters, in November, with a virtual grand finale. The event was attended by brand ambassador Neha Dhupia as well as members of the Dermalogica International Team.

Ekta Mehra took home the title of the ‘Best Skin Therapist of 2022’. Bhakti Kumari from Delhi bagged the second place and Sukhdeep Kaur from Patiala won the third place in the competition.

Dermalogica PROSkin Masters is a competition designed to test the knowledge, skill and expertise of professional skin therapists and celebrate the transformations they bring in the lives of their customers through their work. The contestants went through nine training modules to enhance their knowledge about skin science, new advancements in skin services and products and much more, culminating in a written test. The finale was judged by educators from Dermalogica UK, namely Hannah Cookes, Jessica Welch, Lizzie Jones and Sarah Tobin, as well as Otishia Nair and Unine Van Rooyen, educators from Dermalogica South Africa.
