INSPIRATION

The inspiration was to appear well-groomed and business-like with a bit of a swagger. The concept of salon is ‘less is more with a great build quality.’

VISION

The design for Zorro is intended to be minimalist, soothing and streamlined. The vision was to offer elegance, sophistication and innovation. In line with this minimalist approach, the design on the walls of the salon is a delicate, with the light-yellow hue brightening the indoors and giving a soft look to this commercial space. Intricate patterns, reminiscent of the late Italian architect Scarpa’s designs, are seen throughout the salon.

The freestanding haircutting stations are arranged at the centre of the salon’s main studio. These feature thick side tables. On one side of the main space, black leather chairs sit opposite a floating table that lines the concrete wall, above which embellished mirrors and square-shaped display shelves are positioned.
