VISION

Dharmesh Hingorani and Zingranwon Shatsang, Owners, Zido Salon wanted their salon to be cosy and intimate. They were not keen on having a lot of space between two workstations because they wanted to encourage the flow of good conversations. They wanted their clients to find the space comfortable.

FURNITURE

In any salon furniture is of utmost importance as it’s based on the theme and vision of the salon. “Ikonic furniture helped us in attaining our vision of being a cosy and comfortable personalised salon - especially the barber chair, which is classic. It was a love-at-first-sight with the chair and we immediately booked the same for our salon,” they said.

“This chair is our star furniture as even women want to have their cuts and colour sitting in the barber chair.”

EYE-CATCHING ELEMENTSEYE-CATCHING ELEMENTS

“We have two USPs at our salon, one is the backwash area, which is a bit secluded and has an amazing light effect that makes it a peaceful place for all our customers. They can relax here while having a wash.”

“The second is our colour bar. The colour bar has panels of splatter art, which we all have created. Every person who works at the salon has splattered on the panel. When you look at it, you realise that it has been created by the team. This allows every member of the team to feel like ‘I have created this place.’ So, everybody has that little feeling of belongingness towards the salon,” conclude the duo.

Top tips for salon’s interiors

• The salon should be brightly lit as light is an important factor and element for salons.

• Invest in high quality furniture in your salon as client’s comfort has to be our utmost priority.
