FALGUNI NAYAR LAUNCHES NYVEDA BY NYKAA

Nyveda, a new Ayurvedic beauty and wellness brand, is the newest offering from Nykaa. At a recent event in Mumbai, Falguni Nayar, Founder and CEO, Nykaa, launched the new brand and its range of oils, along with her team member Nancy Joseph, in the presence of Mumbai’s beauty influencers and members of the media. This launch marks the company’s foray into holistic wellbeing. Nyveda is exclusively available on Nykaa.com.

The range focusses on the rituals of oiling your hair or moisturising your skin with recipes based on ancient ayurvedic texts such as the Bhav Prakash Nigantu. The range includes two hair oils -Nyveda Revive My Roots and Nyveda Restore My Shine and a body oil -Nyveda Nourish My Skin Body Oil. Each oil features some of nature’s best ingredients that give nourishment and earthy fragrances. Nayar regards Nyveda as a natural extension of Nykaa’s portfolio, given the relevance of Ayurveda in the Indian notion of beauty and wellness.

INDIA BEACH FASHION WEEK 2023

The ninth edition of India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW) 2023 started with a bang at Divar Island, Goa. The two-day event was an amalgamation of beauty and fashion. Day one started with a curtain raiser by ace fashion designer Vikram Phadnis followed by Srishti Kaur, a young and talented designer.

Ikonic Professional created the looks for both the shows. The brand was also the presenter of IBFW 2023. “This is our sixth year of being associated with Indian Beach Fashion Week. And Ikonic as a brand has a strong connectivity in the fashion industry. As hairstyling is all about fashion,” said Rayed Merchant, Director SSIZ International. “As we always say, what you wear starts with your hair. So, Iknoic and fashion are integrated together and there is no difference between them.”

The day two of the event witnessed runway shows from Mandira Virk, Gavin Miguel and Ken Ferns, Sasha Revankar, Swapnila, Ripci Bhati, Amit Bhardwaj and Nishant and Preeti.

BEAUTY GARAGE’S SHEA DAY CELEBRATION

Shea Day celebration by Beauty Garage was held on 7 February 2023, at the Lavelle Road branch. Guests were treated to a day of indulgence that included Beauty Garage sessions with a wide range of products and goody bags. Expert trainers shared their knowledge and insights about the benefits of shea, and guests were able to learn about the best ways to incorporate it into their hair care routines. Guests were able to connect with like-minded individuals, over cheese and wine, and share their passion for natural and nourishing hair care. There was a real sense of excitement and energy in the air at the event.

NATURICA DAY AT EIKON SALON

Naturica Day was organised at Eikon Salon. This event aimed to promote the use of natural and organic products for hair and scalp care solutions and offer exclusive Naturica Rituals to the clients.

The highlight of Naturica Day was free consultation by a Naturica expert. Based on the analysis, a customised ritual was offered to the clients that involved the use of Naturica shampoo, conditioner, mask and treatments.

Bloggers and influencers participated at the event and received the exclusive Naturica Rituals. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many bloggers expressing their satisfaction with the results and the overall experience of the Naturica treatment.

Naturica Day was a testament to Eikon Salon’s commitment and dedication to providing their clients with the best possible hair care solutions using sustainable products. The event also highlighted the importance of 100 per cent vegan products.

MULTI-CITY SEMINARS BY CAVINKARE

The beauty industry is in its best phase. There are many education and knowledge transfer events being conducted by various brands and artists. CavinKare’s Krone Professional division conducted two such seminars at Agartala and Calicut in February 2023.

The educational seminars showcased the brand’s passion for creating innovative and effective hair care products and included information on Krone Professional products such as anti-dandruff treatment kit, anti-dandruff hair tonic and shine bond straighten. Attended by salon owners and professionals from more than 100 salons, the seminars also offered a live demo of the products to show the audience their easy usage and effectiveness.

K18 INDIA EVENT AT GEETANJALI SALON, MUMBAI

K18 India had organised an event, which was co-hosted by influencer and socialite Ishna Batra and Reshma Dialani, at Geetanjali Salon in Mumbai. They invited key opinion leaders to the event to experience K18’s groundbreaking product technology via a public engagement. It included one-on-one sessions with K18 experts to understand the technology involved. The event successfully connected everyone with the brand and helped them feel fresh, rejuvenated and energised with their freshly blow-dried hair.

IKONIC PROFESSIONAL’S SEMINAR AT RAJKOT

Ikonic Professional is known for creating innovative and inspirational products with a futuristic attitude. As a result, along with their Creative Director, Vipul Chudasama, Ikonic Professional is on roll with look-and-learn seminars to educate stylists.

One such look and learn seminar was organised in Rajkot, Gujarat, on 4th March 2023. The seminar showcased top five modern, innovative and glamorous looks by Chudasama. The seminar was attended by more than 250 professionals from Rajkot and other parts of Gujarat.

WELLA PROFESSIONALS BRINGS KROMATIC 2.0

Wella Professionals is back with the Kromatic 2.0 Collection - adiverse new colour collection that breaks stigmas around hair colour, making it your everyday accessory. The brand is launching this diverse collection through interactive look and learn seminars held in multiple cities across the country, starting with Kolkata in February. CLARINS PRECIOUS LAUNCHED DURING PARIS FASHION WEEK

Clarins hosted an exclusive dinner on 1 March, during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of its luxury skincare line, Clarins Precious. The event took place at the newly minted Michelin-star restaurant, Akrame. Jonathan Zrihen, the CEO of Clarins, and Katalin Katalin Berenyi, the Brand General Manager of Clarins, welcomed the esteemed guests to an intimate evening. The guest list included notable celebrities, models and influencers such as Ashley Park, Elsa Hosk, Paul Forman, Ivy Getty, Brooks Nader, Gaia Weiss, Holly Ramsay and many more.

Clarins Precious, committed to responsible beauty, is inspired by plants and driven by science. The skincare collection is infused with Moonlight Flower cryoextract, a flower that blooms one night a year, and only for a few hours.
