CUT AND STYLE SEMINAR BY IKONIC PROFESSIONAL

Ikonic Professional conducted a look and learn seminar on cut and style in Nepal. It was led by their Creative Director Vipul Chudasma. The event held at Begnas Hall, Lazimpat, Nepal, welcomed around 137 beauty professionals. Kathmandu is the most fashionable city in Nepal, so Vipul focused on advanced haircuts and high-street fashion looks. Out of the total five looks created during the seminar, the short curly hair cut was much appreciated and proved to be the showstopper. Ikonic Professional is planning more look and learn seminars with Vipul in metros and minimetros in India, too.

ESTEE LAUDER ANNOUNCES BEAUTY&YOU 2023

The Estée Lauder Companies announced the second edition of BEAUTY&YOU. Launched in 2022 by ELC NIV in partnership with Nykaa, BEAUTY&YOU is back to continue its mission to discover, spotlight and propel the next generation of Indian beauty brands. The programme supports India-focused companies, entrepreneurs, innovators and creators through a competitive application process that will be open to prospective applicants on June 7, 2023. Winners will be announced on November 2, 2023, at a live event in Mumbai.

The 2023 programme introduces two new awards to broaden the reach of the initiative. Scientists, photographers, filmmakers and key members of the beauty ecosystem are invited to apply alongside beauty company founders. ELC NIV has also released a report on the Indian beauty and personal care market.

ESSENTIAL LOOKS 2023 BY SCHWARZKOPF PROFESSIONAL

Schwarzkopf Professional revealed Essential Looks 2023, a flagship property, at an event in Mumbai. Flagging off Essential Looks in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi, lead stylists Deepak Jalhan and Vaisakhi Haria, deep dived into cut and color trends for 2023.

The three key global trends - Virtual Eden, Selfhood and Misfits - formed the foundation for this year’s hair guide. These trends dictated the looks created for the Essential Looks show. Elysian Fields, an ode to romanticism with long flowing hair, was derived from Virtual Eden. Oneself took its cue from Selfhood with its undone textures while Beatniks paid tribute to The Misfits, representing those who colour outside the lines. Jalhan and Haria both referred to Essential Looks as a creative and collaborative platform for artists.

AZZARO CHROME PERFUME RANGE LAUNCHED

Global Shoppers Stop Beauty (SSBeauty) Brands x L’Oréal International Division launched Azzaro Chrome perfume range in India. The new interpretation of the iconic perfume is sharp, fresh and invigorating.

The launch event, which took place on 7th June 2023 at Estella, Juhu, Mumbai, witnessed all the beauty influencers in attendance. Actor Karan Tacker along with his father Kuku Tacker was also part of the event promoting the fragrance brand.

The sundowner commenced with media interaction and photoops followed by an opportunity to experience the fragrance over an intimate sit-down dinner.

MOTHER’S DAY AT JCB SALON BY K18 INDIA

K18 India celebrated Mother’s Day at Jean Claude Biguine Salon in Juhu, Mumbai. The afternoon was co-hosted by influencer and socialite Ishna Batra and Reshma Dialani. They invited key opinion leaders to the event to experience K18’s groundbreaking product technology via a public engagement. K18 expert explained in detail the technology behind the products. Also onboard was Karibo, a lipstick customisation brand, which helped moms create their custom shade of lipstick that related best to their personality. The event successfully connected everyone with the brand and helped them feel fresh, rejuvenated, and pampered with their freshly blow-dried hair.

BEAUTY ENTREPRENEUR DIIPA BÜLLER-KHOSLA AT THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

Leading global lifestyle influencer, activist and beauty entrepreneur, Diipa Büller-Khosla marked her presence, for the 6th consecutive year, at the 76th edition of Cannes Film Festival 2023. In 2018, Khosla became India’s very first global influencer to walk the red carpet at Cannes. For the first time ever in the history of the festival, an Indian-founded beauty brand - Inde Wild - hosted a curated ensemble of South Asian global talent featuring female self-starters leading the change in fashion, entrepreneurship, media and entertainment. The event also emphasised India’s growing relevance and presence in the global luxury market. KRONE PROFESSIONAL SEMINARS IN PUNJAB

Krone Professional had organised a series of seminars in Pinjore and Chandigarh in the month of May to promote their products - Shine Bond Straiten and Eminor+. The seminars were attended by stylists and salon owners and comprised live demos of the products to show the audience the simplicity of usage and the effectiveness of the outcome.

These educational seminars showcased the brand’s passion for creating innovative and effective haircare products and highlighted their features, application processes and the potential impact the products could have on the salon business. PbhJ
