TOWARDS
HOLISTIC
WELLNESS
“Sharmilee first had the idea of a wellness retreat back in college, since then it stayed with us. We had been closely keeping an eye on the happenings in the economy, the wealth creation, the titration of lifestyle and the choice of destinations for consumers that could transform health.
Finally in 2005, when we decided to commit to the dream of Atmantan and created a business plan for a luxury wellness centre, which would offer authentic and result-oriented health benefits, we were sure that this venture had a financial future as well.
Our drive became stronger as we noticed a clear gap in what the consumers wanted and the available choices that fulfilled this requirement.
The past seven years have witnessed a good amount of success. People took time to start trusting us but slowly and steadily we started proving to them that we are a brand that understands health, body, physiology, mind and energy really well and that cares about people’s deteriorating health.
Our guests started experiencing inspiring transformations and the great feedback that we got right from day one encouraged us.”
LIKE NO OTHER
“Our doctor guided programmes are unique, wherein we focus only on wellness travellers looking for a transformative experience. We don’t really chase other forms of business such as leisure or groups.
The resort offers an expanse of 6,525 sq ft of fitness facilities in addition to world class treatments and wellness therapies like traditional Ayurveda, oriental acupressure, aromatherapy massages, Chi Nei Tsang, purifying body polishes, cocooning wraps, physiotherapy and Pranic chakra cleansing among others.
At Atmantan, it is about creating solutions for everyone. While designing our treatments, we picked the most frequent concerns and issues that guests had and even today we look towards creating need-based programmes for our guests. We have created the Super Immunity Retreat post-COVID, as we had guests wanting an immunity boosting retreat. Besides the available programmes that the guests can enrol into, each and every one of them is a wide structure within which the retreat is further personalised for individual needs.”
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
“The Atmantan cuisine philosophy follows the principles of ‘let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food’ by Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. Our wellness cuisine is prescriptive in its approach wherein it assists the body in restoring health, strength, balance and enhancing longevity.
The cuisine here only uses evidence based foods, known for its medicinal benefits and the dishes served are nutritious, appealing and bursting with colours and energy, to delight your senses, while healing your cells.
Atmantan’s gastronomical experience has its roots in age-old traditions, which maintain and restore health, vitality and wellbeing. We recognise the healing power of Earth’s medicine in the form of plant-based ingredients including the healing properties of aromatic herbs and spices, and hence only use farm fresh plant produce.
We believe that wholesome, organic, seasonal, local and nutritionally dense ingredients are the basic building blocks of healthy cuisine. We carefully prepare these ingredients into delicious healthy dishes as per doctors’ prescription and individual requirements (including allergies). Our own organic farms supply to Atmantan’s kitchens as well. The concept of wellness cuisine - nobody does this better than Atmantan!
Dishes that are tastefully plated and nourishing can be relished here as part of the wellness experience of a guest. The eating habits encourage mindfulness such that the guest incorporates the same into their daily schedule when they leave from here.”PBHJ
