Gurpreet Seble, Founder of Nail Spa by Gurpreet, has revolutionised the nail industry in India. Today, she is also championing the cause of the LGBTQ community by mentoring a pride collection. Priyanka Parshurami brings to you the four best bets from the pride collection.

At the Professional Beauty Kolkata Show, Gurpreet Seble, Founder of Nail Spa by Gurpreet, curated a nail collection with Posh Kitten for the live demo stage on ‘Rainbow Pride’ to welcome the LGBTQ community to the beauty industry. The LGBTQ community has made inroads in other industries such as fashion and travel, and with the support of veterans like Seble, they are getting opportunities in the beauty industry, too.

Seble led the creative team that presented the pride collection at the Beauty Stage at the Show. We got her to give us a lowdown on four nail looks from the collection that captured our attention.

RAINBOW THEME

Stiletto nails in three inches with colourful leopard spots on rainbow colours with an amazing pigment! ThRainbow Themee leopard spots were showcased through little sparkling news or a miler that we have introduced, so that it looks awesome on a drag queen.

VAMP GLAM

The gothic look with nails looked awesome because of the three inch stiletto in black matte, replete with piercings and the cross with the stars, and of course tons of Swarovski.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

I am from North America and northern lights are a big deal for us. People come from all over to watch the northern lights, whether it’s in Scandinavia or Canada. With multi-coloured chrome that we introduced in flashing blue, purple and green and the stars sparkling with the Swarovski on it, we recreated northern lights on nails.

OCEAN VIBES

Marbling was taking too much time - it was taking five minutes per nail. So, I introduced a fast forward product called Bloom gel with the graffiti foil look. It takes one minute to do a three inch nail. PBHJ
