The new door of TIP&TOE Nails Lashes Brows salon in Chennai opens into a premium grunge space that’s designed to give you a singular experience, finds out Priyanka Parshurami.

When nail salons were not in trend and awareness was limited 12 years ago, Sharmila Thanki, Founder and Director, TIP&TOE Nails Lashes Brows, had the vision to combine luxury and modern design. The latest salon in Chennai showcases a design that’s in sync with international trends. The brand’s signature style of a raw grunge finish is also retained. As per the chain format, the Chennai outlet of TIP&TOE Nails Lashes Brows.

The salon features a first-of-its-kind full body massager pedicure chair along with regular modern pedicure chairs. Their menu includes a variety of product-based services ranging from Indian brands to high-end international ones. Their motto is to offer the best of services at reasonable prices to their discerning clientele.

The factors that were kept in mind when the salon was being made were luxury, client friendly, high standards of service, hygiene, safety, best international products, client comfort, trained technicians and special SOPs that were curated and customised based on the client’s needs.

Thanki says, “The special feature is our colour theme, which is a combination of black and gold that looks classy, royal and elegant. Our specially customised luxurious pedi chairs need to be experienced first-hand to know how different they are from regular pedi chairs.”

“Semi-permanent make-up services such as microblading, ombre shading and lip blushing are taught to our students at our Nails Lashes Brows academies across India. This helps students to go ahead and become aestheticians and highly trained and skilled PMU artists,” she added.
