LTA School of Beauty Launches Masters Program in Beauty Cosmetology

LTA School of Beauty is an internationally respected name in beauty education. Since its establishment in 2005, the institute has trained thousands of students to have blooming careers in the beauty industry. On 25th July 2023, in the presence of luminous industry professionals, the LTA School of Beauty organised a grand felicitation ceremony for their alumni.

During the ceremony, the launch of their Master’s Program in Beauty Cosmetology was declared. This master’s program aims to combine the world-famous CIDESCO qualification with the online knowledge portal from Pivot Point.

The course will include the latest and advanced skin aesthetic treatments using lasers, seems rollers, radio frequency, chemical peels hydra facial, and more such machine-based treatments. Biju Nair, the co-founder of LTA spoke on this occasion saying that after completing the course the students will have knowledge and skills to practice as beauty cosmetologists.

Kay Beauty Launches Carefree Eyeshadow Palette

Kay Beauty gave a gift to the founder Katrina Kaif on her birthday by launching their latest eyeshadow range. The Carefree Eyeshadow Palette is a gorgeous mix of fresh matte and shimmer shades. The palette is named Carefree, because the fresh shades add to the colour of life. This versatile palette is made of 9 shades, embodying vibrancy, ready to sweep the beauty trends.

National Skill Network gave a platform to budding talent at Skillfest 2023

The National Skills Network (NSN) India recently organised a skill fest to promote talent at the grassroots level. This event was organised in collaboration with the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA). The event aimed to encourage budding beauty talent in India on a global platform. Right countries took part in Skillfest 2023. Registration came from India, Bangladesh, Brunei, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Darussalam, and Pakistan. Ten categories of the competition were announced for the event. In the beauty category, participants demonstrated skills in hair styling, hair cutting, nail art, and make-up.

Director of Bharti Taneja Alps Beauty Group, Bharti Taneja was the judge of the event. The top three participants received cash prizes of INR 5000, INR 3000, and INR 2000 respectively. All the participants were awarded participation certificates.

MUL Secrets Launches Wellness First Skincare Brand

MUL Secrets is taking new strides in its holistic beauty journey. They recently launched a one of it’s kind, wellness-first skincare brand, based in Mumbai. The brand operates on the principle that beauty comes from within and that beauty wellness is a holistic journey that goes beyond surface-level treatments.

At the launch, MUL Secrets announced the launch of three wellness-first skincare products. They are not just the amalgamation of science and nature but the embodiment of holistic wellness. Soon, Robot Manicures might be a regular thing

Clockwork, a San Francisco-based startup has leveraged the recent AI development in creating a program to give quick manicures. All it takes is 10 minutes and $10 to get a simple and quick manicure, just like you would at any salon. The idea was to make beauty accessible to everyone.

Clockwork founder said clockwork aims to make life simpler for people by making beauty accessible. Beauty is known to take the traditional route. But this is an exciting journey for many beauty professionals. Clockwork may soon launch robotic lash enhancements. Currently, the robotic manicures are available at a select few locations and the brand is looking forward to future expansion. It is a new horizon for beauty professionals.

CTI inaugurates Salon Owners Council for Industry Empowerment

The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) Women’s Council inaugurated the Salon Owners Council on 14th July 2023 at Vidhan Sabha in New Delhi. CRI Chairman Brijesh Goyal, General Secretary Vishnu Bhargav and President Malbika Sahni attended the ceremony. IAS Officer Abhishek Singh and Deputy Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly Rakhi Birla were also in attendance.

Nirmal Randhawa, make-up artist and owner of the Indica Makeover Studio was elected the President of the Salon Owners Council by CTI. The council aims to present the projects and schemes at the cabinet, state or central level. The council shall play an integral role in finding effective solutions to salon owners’ problems in the long run.
