The recently concluded India Couture Week saw all our favourite designers showcasing their collections for the upcoming festive and wedding season. As with any such major fashion event, fashionistas followed India Couture Week 2023 for inspiration across fashion, hair, make-up and accessories.

While waves were made in the fabric and garment designs, there were not a lot of experiments in terms of the hair and make-up looks. Most designers preferred the clean, no make-up-make-up look with a neutral shade palette and slick-back hair. Here is a quick break-down of the make-up trends that we are hearting for the upcoming season:

RUNWAY LOOKS

While most designers kept with the ongoing trend of glossy skin and lips with just a hint of drama on the eyes, others took a detour to revisit the heavily kohled eyes era of the 2000s with a clean matte face or smoky eyes paired with near nude lips and face. A few others picked reference from the last two years with dark lips and neutral eyes.

Dark lips, nude face and dark, dramatic eyes were the key highlights of the ramp at the India Couture Week 2023.
