HARMONISING Wellness

Manoj Khetan, Co-founder, naad Wellness, delhi nCR, talks to Professional Beauty x Hairdressers Journal about the genesis of the place and its journey to be a centre of holistic health and transformation.

Standing within close proximity of the capital and built around the ancient philosophy of spiritual resonance, Naad Wellness is a haven that brings your body, mind and soul in perfect harmony with each other. As the primordial sound that echoes through the universe, the word ‘Naad’ encapsulates the essence of this wellness sanctuary, where each individual’s journey towards inner peace and well-being commences.

Manoj Khetan, Co-founder, Naad Wellness, said, “Naad Wellness is not merely a business venture. It’s a shared vision realised by three families connected by a common purpose. The journey started when we found ourselves connected through this shared project. A spark ignited, urging us to embark on a path that would not only bring personal satisfaction but also contribute positively to society.”

Shedding light on their guiding principle, he explained “Our aim is to make a meaningful impact through education and medical services. This philosophy helped us lay the foundation for this holistic wellness centre. We firmly believe in two traditional pillars of wellness: Ayurveda and naturopathy. Our objective is to provide a space where people can willingly seek solace, not driven by necessity, but drawn by a desire for holistic well-being.”

The establishment’s name, ‘Naad’ captures the essence of sound and its omnipresent echoes. It symbolises a pure connection with the god. This theme is seen throughout the centre, offering a harmonious blend of medical care and soulful hospitality.

Khetan added, “Central to Naad’s uniqueness is its integration of Ayurveda, naturopathy and hospitality. The offerings include not just therapies but an array of experiences that have been thoughtfully curated to fit each guest that walks through the doors of Naad Wellness. From the traditional abhyanga massage to the therapeutic Turkish hammam and the unique salt caves, every aspect of Naad Wellness is meticulously designed to promote well-being.”

In the heart of this wellness sanctuary, the sound of Naad continues to reverberate and guide each visitor on a transformative journey towards a healthier self.

TUNING INTO NAAD

When guests walk into the centre, a comprehensive procedure unfolds to ensure a personalised experience. The process begins with an in-depth consultation with a doctor, where the guest’s health history, concerns and preferences are assessed. This consultation sets the base for curating a tailored wellness plan combining various therapies from Ayurveda, naturopathy and yoga. Each therapy is carefully selected to address an individual’s needs and concerns. Reflexology, hot and cold compresses and more are employed based on the guest’s health history and future requirements.

Guests are also provided with a satvik diet plan in harmony with their therapy and health goals. Yoga sessions are tailored to their physical capabilities and concerns, ensuring optimal benefits. Alongside therapies, expert consultations extend to counselling sessions, emphasising mental well-being as well.

Throughout their stay, guests’ progress is monitored and regular interactions with experts allow adjustments to the wellness plan. Importantly, guests are educated about the healing crisis, a temporary phase at the start of the treatment during which the body adapts to positive changes.

“Starting with certain restrictions such as no smoking and drinking inside the premises, Naad Wellness ensures that the wellness experience transcends the centre’s confines. Guests receive follow-up diet and yoga plans to continue their journey after they leave,” explained Khetan.

AN ARRAY OF AMENITIES

Naad Wellness offers a diverse range of amenities that you can indulge in during your stay. Notable amongst these are the ancient Ayurvedic therapy of Abhyanga and Reflexology. An oil massage delivered in seven traditional postures, using medicated oils, Abhyanga helps improve blood circulation and muscle tone.

Reflexology targets specific pressure points connected to various organs. This therapy not only promotes relaxation but also stimulates and benefits corresponding body parts, making it especially beneficial for individuals dealing with specific health concerns such as diabetes or respiratory issues.

Additionally, they have two unusual wellness experiences: the Turkish Hammam and the Salt Cave. The Turkish Hammam involves stimulating scrubbing techniques followed by a steam session leading to ultimate relaxation, while the Salt Cave, constructed with salt bricks, offers unique respiratory benefits through the release of salt molecules into the air.

“Both the Turkish Hammam and the Salt Cave provide treatment with a distinct focus on exfoliation, relaxation and respiratory health. These amenities encapsulate Naad Wellness’s commitment to offering diverse experiences that cater to various wellness needs and preferences,” said Khetan.

By providing a variety of therapies, Naad Wellness is catering to individuals seeking physical, mental and spiritual rejuvenation in an environment designed to initiate a journey of holistic well-being.
