L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty has unveiled its first brand CeraVe, in India. To support the launch and amplify its core proposition, the brand hosted ‘Skin Barrier Science A Dermatological Summit’ in Mumbai, with key dermatologists, experts and partners coming together from all over India. CeraVe’s unique formula has been developed with dermatologists and contains three essential ceramides that restore the skin’s natural barrier, leveraging MVE (Multivesicular Emulsion) technology.

A special feature of the event was an educational experience zone, led by Dr Namita Misra, Head, Omics Teams for Exposome Advanced Research, L’Oréal France. A futuristic take on the event was the presence of Dr Muneeb Shah in holographic real-time interactive form.

Leading international dermatologist, Dr Giuseppe Micali coming from Italy, spoke about the importance of skin barrier science and the role of ceramides in the restoration of the skin barrier and improvement in skin quality. Senior Indian dermatologist Dr Neena Khanna shared the results of a local clinical trial that was done in India to prove CeraVe’s efficacy on Indian skin. A panel discussion was held to better understand skin conditions prevalent in India and the role of ceramides.


In the recently concluded Bombay Times Fashion Week, Streax Professional launched their new and vibrant colour collection Spectrum. The collection is curated by Vipul Chudasama, Artistic Ambassador, Streax Professional. And bollywood actress Rakulpreet Kaur walked the ramp for the launch.

New Collection, “Spectrum”, is a celebration of individuality. IT depicts a diverse range of vibrant hues that go beyond the boundaries of traditional colour palettes. Each color in this collection breathes new life, creates uniqueness and personal style for every individual. Streax Professional aims to empower individuals to discover their unique selves and carve out their niche.

The event also witnessed crowing of second winners of Indian Hairstyle Icon 2023, Pushkar Sen from Udaipur, Rajasthan. Pushkar won INR 5 lakhs and a trip to attend OMC Fashion World 2024. He also bagged an annual contract with Streax Professional for their annual collection 2024.


Project Butter fly, is a community initiative by Beautiful Hearts Fund in order to spread smiles and joy amongst the needy. Last year the organization came together and conducted an event at St. Anthony’s Home for Aged. And this year again the team returned with more love and magic to make the angels at St. Anthony’s Smile.

The event was in unison with the hair and beauty experts where they pampered the angels with free hair cuts, nails, and magical makeup. The salon sesh was followed by a small Lunch with the all residents and staff of St. Anthony’s.

Beautiful Hearts Fund plan to carry out such community initiatives activities on pan India level setting an example for the genenext.


Dermalogica had organised an expert Gua Sha masterclass and Face Mapping Skin Analysis at the Tira store Infiniti Mall, Malad, on 3rd November. The event witnessed beauty editors and influencers partaking in a skincare session curated by Dermalogica x Hena Desai, and got an opportunity to try the 20-minute PROGlow service. The intimate event gave them a chance to interact with skin experts and learn more about the art of healthy skin with the use of Gua Sha and Dermalogica products.


Created by ELC’s New Incubation Ventures (NIV) and launched in partnership with NYKAA, BEAUTY&YOU India is an awards program launched in July 2022, with an aim to discover, spotlight, and propel the next generation of Indian-focused beauty founders, innovators, and creatives.

The winners of 2nd edition of Beauty&You India were announced at an awards evening at Snowball Studios, Mumbai, on November 2, 2023. Winners for the Breakthrough, Create, Grow, Imagine, and Impact categories were independently chosen by a panel of judges through a competitive judging process.

In a whirlwind of glamour, innovation, creativity, and entertainment, Nykaaland, India’s inaugural and most prestigious beauty festival, set a new benchmark for the beauty industry. Over two unforgettable days, the festival united beauty enthusiasts, industry influencers and prominent figures in a celebration of all things beautiful.

The attendance was nothing short of spectacular, with more than 15,000 people flocking to the festival grounds. Beauty aficionados from all corners of the nation converged to immerse themselves in an experience like no other. The festival played host to a stellar gathering of 800 influencers, makeup experts and key opinion leaders, adding a layer of expertise and inspiration that was unmatched.

One of the festival’s standout highlights was the extraordinary generosity of beauty brands. A staggering 100,000 samples were distributed, giving festival-goers the chance to explore, experiment, and discover an array of products. The learning opportunities at Nykaaland were a testament to its commitment to education. Close to 5,000 eager participants attended 12 Masterclasses hosted by industry experts such as Baltasar Gonzalez Pinel, Daniel Bauer, Namrata Soni, Sandhya Shekar and Mickey Contractor. Nykaaland was not just a festival but a content creation powerhouse, with more than 5,000 pieces of engaging and informative content generated during the event.

Celebrities lit up the festival with their star power. One of India’s biggest actors, Katrina Kaif, graced the event to launch her brand, Kay Beauty’s new eyeshadow palette, while National Award winner Kriti Sanon introduced her brand, Hyphen’s new lip balms at Nykaaland. Jim Sarbh joined the roster, launching Schwarzkopf Professional’s new brand film. Nykaa brand ambassador Janhavi Kapoor, along with Masaba and Nushrratt Bharuccha added to the glamour, making the opening night of Nykaaland an unforgettable affair.

Nykaaland introduced a host of “firsts’’ to the Indian beauty scene. Renowned makeup artist Mario Dedivanonic brought his much sought-after masterclass to India for the first time, offering a unique opportunity for aspiring makeup artists and enthusiasts. Urban Decay made an exclusive debut in the Indian market at Nykaaland and Bath & Body Works unveiled their most celebrated collection in India for the first time at the festival. Nyveda, Nykaa Naturals and Earth Rhythm also seized the opportunity to launch their products at Nykaaland, marking a significant moment in their journey.

In conclusion, Nykaaland’s inaugural edition wasn’t just a success; it was a high-octane extravaganza that provided consumers with an unprecedented opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of beauty. Jean Claude Biguine Paris Salon and Spa had hosted an event in association with Beauty Garage, at their salon in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai. The event unveiled a new revolution in hair botox – Botoliss. It promises ten times shinier hair as compared to regular hair Botox. The main objective of the event was to educate and spread awareness about the new treatment and product. Apart from industry professionals and influencers the event saw Sneh Koticha Contractor, Director, JCB Salons; Mahesh Ravaria, Co-founder and CEO, Beauty Garage; and celebrity hairstylists Elton Steve and Michael Balthazar in attendance.


Pond’s unveiled its Hydra Light Range, with the power of micro hyaluronic acid on 26th October at Hyatt Centric, Juhu, Mumbai. The sundowner event at a rooftop venue was the per fect occasion to discuss the nuances of skincare. The event witnessed a plethora of beauty influencers and skincare lovers trying the products from the new range and learning more about the ingredients. In an informative presentation, the Pond’s representative provided details about the science behind it all. The range includes Gel Face Wash, the Hyaluronic Acid Complex 2% Serum and the Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Night Gel. A hyaluronic acid-based day cream is already a part of the Pond’s skincare portfolio. The new range completes the offering and makes good skin accessible to all consumers.


Aytypro recognizes the pivotal role of employee training in enhancing both product expertise and self-grooming skills. They recently conducted a workshop on selfgrooming of their employees. The workshop emphasized effective interaction, leadership development,mentorship programme followed by on-job training.

The certification programs are also implemented to acknowledge and reward employees who excel in product knowledge and self-grooming skills.

The bollywood beauty sensation Sunny Leone joined hands with Looks Salon for an exclusive partnership for her cosmetics brand Stractruck.

In an intimate event held at Looks Salon, JW Marriott, Juhu Mumbai, Sunny Leone addressed the hair and beauty media and influencers.

Speaking about the product and its USP, Sunny mentioned the thought process behind curating the cosmetics range, the manufacturing process, her top favorites and choosing Looks Salon for the partnership.

The event also had an experiential zone for the media and industry influencers to get the first hand experience and look starstruck for the evening ahead.
