The dynamic relationship between fashion and hairstyling has evolved to exemplify creative expression and individuality. The convergence of fashion and beauty has inspired a myriad of trendsetting hairstyles, ranging from bold and vivid colours to avant-garde cuts and styles. I am captivated by the interplay of fashion and hair trends, and the transformative power that fashion holds in shaping contemporary aesthetics.

In this issue, we explore the impact of catwalk trends on hair, make-up and nails. How artists are using their expertise and dipping into their creativity to channel global fashion trends from the ramps of top notch events such as New York Fashion Week. it is interesting to note how each trend is personalised and localised by artists across India and transformed into a pièce de résistance of their particular art form.

We witnessed the zenith of hair artistry at the British Hairdressing Awards. The event heralded a celebration of visionary hairstylists and their pioneering craftsmanship, setting the stage for the upcoming trends in 2024.
