BRITISH HAIRDRESSING AWARDS 2024

Winners of the British Hairdressing Awards 2024 sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, were felicitated at an evening of creative extravaganza in London, as Cos Sakkas, Global Creative Director, TONI&GUY, created history with his hat-trick win. We at PBHJ India extend our heartiest congratulations to all the winners!

The iconic venue of JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on London’s Park Lane was alit with excitement and anticipation as the who’s who of hairdressing gathered to witness the annual spectacle of the British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, on 25 November 2024.

Hosted by presenter Rylan Clarke; Jayne LewisOrr, International Executive Director, Hairdressers Journal; Julian Crane, General Manager UK and Ireland, Schwarzkopf Professional; and Charlotte Grant-West, International Editor; and Sian Jones, Deputy Editor, Hairdressers Journal, the evening witnessed entertainment and a celebration of the awards’ 40th year anniversary. The ruby celebration was attended by 1,400 UK and international hairdressers.

There was a fabulous show from Schwarzkopf Professional’s Global Ambassador Tyler Johnston, a moving tribute to Trevor Sorbie, as well as the eight British Hairdresser of the Year nominees, plus a performance by Pixie Lott.

British Hairdresser of the Year 2024

Cos Sakkas, Global Creative Director, TONI&GUY, claimed the ultimate title of British Hairdresser of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2024, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, for the third time! He bagged the title with his stunning Eclipse collection. He said: “This is my third win - it’s incredible and I just have the longest list of thank-yous to Jayne LewisOrr, Hairdressers Journal and Schwarzkopf, to Sacha Mascolo -Tarbuck and my team, the most incredible team in the world! Also, to Samantha my wife and family, my love, my life, my everything.”
