L’Oréal u pdates its iconic tagline

L’Oréal has mar keted over 500 products exclusively for women since 1909. However, L’Oréal launched its Men Expert line of beauty products for men a few years ago.

The company stated that it was aware that an increasing number of men were using make-up and that it wanted to acknowledge this trend. To accomplish this, L’Oréal changed its long-standing slogan, ‘Because You’re Worth It,’ established in 1971, to ‘Because We’re All Worth It’ in 2023.

Since 2020, male cosmetics sales have been growing faster than female sales. It isn’t just skincare and body wash. Men use beauty balms, colour cor recting creams, mascara, foundation, bronzers and concealers. A recent IPSO study found that roughly one-third of all men are willing to use cosmetics.

It is estimated that the global mar ket for men’s beauty products is worth around $32 billion. By 2030, it is expected to more than double.

NYX Professional Introduces NFTs Michal

NYX Professional Makeup has announced that GORJS, the world’s first beauty decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) dedicated to the development of the 3D artist community, has launched the FKWME Pass, a limited collection of NFT access passes that will unlock benefits for the DAO’s first 1,000 members.

The Confess Project of America, ‘America’s First Mental Health Awareness Movement,’ which trains barbers in black communities to be Mental Health Advocates, has announced that their Beauty Coalition is officially launched.

The Beauty Coalition’s mission is to continue raising Mental Health Awareness for the Black community in a setting where black women have always felt at ease: the beauty salon. Trained Beauty Coalition members will be equipped with Mental Health Advocate tools and techniques to better serve their clients and, in turn, have a positive impact on their communities.

The Confess Project of America will now be able to reach even more people and begin to impact those in beauty salons and beyond, equipping them with critical tools for their mental health, thanks to the launch of the Beauty Coalition. PBHJ
