Professional Beauty India captures the capital

The 23rd edition of Professional Beauty India held in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan was a roaring success, as it provided visitors and exhibitors with wholesome business and networking opportunities. Priyanka Parshurami presents a detailed report.

Professional Beauty India, South Asia’s biggest beauty and hair expo, concluded its 23rd edition at Delhi, Pragati Maidan. The two-day event, held on the 3rd and 4th of July 2023 recorded a whopping visitor count of 15,049. Visitors flooded in from not just the northern areas of Delhi NCR, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh but also from distant states such as Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Beauty professionals even travelled from Nepal and Bangladesh to visit Professional Beauty India and take care of their sourcing needs.

The show is seen as the gateway to the northern region of the country. It presents a great networking opportunity for beauty and hair professionals. Furthermore, it also helps showcase the latest trends in the market, in terms and product launches, and provide a platform for learning and education.

Spread across an area of almost 15,000 sq mtrs, the event hosted over 350+ exhibiting brands. This included brands across the verticals of hair, skin, make-up, spa and nails as well as salon tools and accessories.

SALON MANAGEMENT CONGRESS (SMC)

Salon Management Congress is built on our vision to drive best practices and support the growth of the industry. It further discusses the latest challenges in the industry. It further focuses on identifying solutions to help salon owners and managers run their businesses more effectively. The 2023 Delhi edition of SMC hosted dignitaries such as Monica Bhal, CEO, B&WSSCI and Rehan Khan Suri, Pro-VC, Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University, along with leading industry experts like Indra Ahluwalia, Kapil Sharma, Arpita Das, Gunjan Taneja, Unnati Singh, Samir Srivastav, Seema Jerajani and many others.

LIVE DEMO – HJ STAGE

The learning and knowledge sharing was 2X at Professional Beauty India, Delhi. With 35+ beauty and hair artists providing cutting-edge education over the two days across the ‘HJ Stage,’ which is focused on hair education and styling. There were sessions by Vivek Shyam Bhatia, Gourav Bhardwaj, Rachit Malhotra and Elton Steve Vessoaker. Hair celebrities like Savio John Pereira, Ryan D Rozario and Vipul Chudasama as well as international artist JJ Savani also joined the fray.

An exciting new introduction was the first-ever Modern Barber Show, in association with Vega Professional. Savio John Pereira, Naseem and Gaurav Bhardwaj dazzled the audience with inspiring barbering techniques.

LIVE DEMO – BEAUTY STAGE

The ‘Beauty Stage’ focused on education around skin, make-up and nails. The key highlights included a nail session by industry veteran Gurpreet Seble, who had invited acid attack survivors to walk the ramp. Other industry icons on stage included Avleen Bansal, Aanchal Khanna Kapoor, Shalini Singh and Cyrus Mathew along with many more renowned artists who inspired the crowd across the two-day event.

FELICITATION OF PARTNERS:

In delivering a successful show in North India, the Professional Beauty India team took pride in felicitating influencers and partners. Artists Shailini Arora, Amit Agarwal, Jyoti Shyam, Mahesh Chandana, Rakesh Anand and Kavita Mehra were amongst the many names that were felicitated and celebrated.

NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES

The event certainly provided the brands with a platform to launch their new product ranges. The event witnessed new product launches like Ikonic Dynamite Pro 2500+, Pro Titanium Shine, and Ikonic S3+ by Ikonic; Manicure Hand Rest Lamp, Soft Gel Tips, Chrome Glitters by Shills Professionals. Additionally, we also saw launches like skincare range Urban Men specifically designed keeping in mind the specific needs of a man’s skin by Jeannot Ceuticals and many more.

Brands, manufacturers, beauty experts, business owners, students or aspiring beauty artists, Professional Beauty India, Delhi Show, had something for everyone. Each visitor took back something meaningful that would help their business grow.
