France to host WorldSakills Lyon 2024 in Eurexpo

France is all set to host the world’s largest skill feat, WorldSkills 2024 in Eurexpo, Lyon. The fest will be hosted from 10th to 15th September 2024 with over 1,500 competitors participating from across 65 countries. The expo anticipates a crowd of 2,50,000 visitors to witness the competitors championing 64 skills of excellence and expertise.

WorldSkills Lyon 2024 will be a portfolio of events designed to inspire skills and vocational training stakeholders, under one roof. This will be the 47th year of WorldSkills competition. The objectives of the WorldSkills are founded on compliance with recognised standards and certifications, especially the ISO 20121 certification. Over 2,500 volunteers will be recruited, to promote social inclusion and diversity for the fest.

Lancôme, Louvre are making beauty a living art

Inspired by nine sculptural masterpieces at the Louvre, Lancôme has designed a limited edition of skincare and beauty products. Titled Lancôme x Louvre, there is also a campaign supporting the collaboration, which is filmed with Zendaya, Aya Nakamura, Amanda Seyfried and He Cong, who are the official ambassadors of the campaign, each embodying the characteristics of iconic sculptures.

The pieces that inspired this collection include Venus de Milo, Victory of Samothrace, Corine, Diana of Gabies, Nymphe with a Scorpion, Echo, Hygieia, Venus of Arles and Hermaphrodite. Speaking on the subject, Lisa Eldridge, Global Creative Director, Lancôme Makeup, said that through this collaboration, the Louvre will help write a modern take on beauty.

Coty to relaunch Marc Jacobs’ beauty portfolio

Coty Inc is set to bring back Marc Jacobs beauty products back to its roster by 2025. Marc Jacobs has signed a long-term lease with Coty to promote the beauty products in their portfolio. Coty currently holds a license for Marc Jacobs fragrances. This agreement reinforces Coty’s position as a go-to partner for global fashion houses and brands

Revlon gets a new global brand ambassador

Nailea Devora, as Revlon’s newest global brand ambassador, will be joining the ranks of Ashley Graham and Megan Thee Stallion. Devora is a 21-yearold Latina, with over 19 million followers on social media. She hails from El Paso, Texas and is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant. She has become a notable tastemaker in fashion and lifestyle.

The company spokesperson said that the brand is constantly looking to partner with changemakers and budding talent who is not afraid to take risks, just like Devora. She will be creating social media content across Revlon’s social platforms.
